Job summary

Ascent Aerospace seeks a CNC Operator to work with the CNC Department Manager to establish tool setups and validate programs for 3- and 5-axis machines. You will handle day-to-day NC program development and operation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in aerospace parts manufacturing.

The role requires experience in conventional or NC machining, the ability to read GD&T blueprints, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience in conventional or NC machining.
• Able to read blueprints including GD&T.
• Must meet export control compliance as a U.S. Person.

Responsibilities

• Set up NC toolings and validate NC programs for 3- and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Perform complete numerical control operation for tools, details, and parts.
• Maintain safety by following procedures and policies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
