ASCO Industries is seeking a capable machinist to set up and operate conventional and CNC machines for aerospace parts. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely completion, and safe, efficient manufacturing.

You will deburr, polish, and verify parts to drawings; participate in 5S and Kaizen; work in a cross-functional team; and may travel domestically or internationally. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a technology diploma preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Industry experience in CNC machining preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret drawing tolerances and specifications, preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate safe operation of machinery.
• Willingness to accommodate flexible working schedules, including shift work.
• Regularly handle items weighing up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Aufgaben

• Set-up and operate multiple CNC machines per procedures.
• De-burr, polish and verify parts to drawing specs.
• Support 5S and Lean manufacturing, Kaizen (continuous improvement).
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane as required.
• Contribute to cross training and cross-functional team environment.
• Possibly travel domestically and internationally.
