Job summary

Chromalloy in Carson City, NV is seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machine tools to manufacture precision aerospace components. You will adjust offsets, edit simple programs, inspect parts, and maintain safe, efficient production.

We value hands-on skills, precise measurement with gauges and calipers, and good communication. The role includes a 1st shift with a $1-$3 shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus, plus opportunities for training

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
• Read blueprints and travelers.
• Proficient in gauges and measurement tools.
• English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, tool, and operate CNC and conventional machine tools.
• Create and install tooling, cutters, grinding wheels, electrodes, and shop aids as required.
• Adjust machine offsets and make program modifications to support production requirements.
• Inspect parts using gauges, measuring equipment, and production specifications.
• Read and interpret travelers, blueprints, and other technical documentation.
• Complete routine machine maintenance and maintain equipment in proper working condition.
