Job summary

Chromalloy in Carson City seeks a CNC Operator to join the Blade Manufacturing team. You will set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce critical aerospace components, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

You will load programs, set up tooling, inspect parts, and support lean initiatives while maintaining a safe, organized work area and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Shift: 3rd with differential and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines.
• Load and edit machine programs as needed.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials.
• Produce parts to engineering and production specifications.
• Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools.
• Perform minor part modifications and finishing work.
• Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements.
• Utilize computerized production tracking systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
