Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical, electrical and control support for CNC machining assets in a demanding aerospace environment.

You will repair, maintain and modify complex machinery, troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, hydraulics and pneumatics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.

Based in Morton, IL, this full-time on-site role requires 3+ years of machine repair experience and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure proper operating condition.
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on CNCs (5 axis milling, mill turn, lathes).
• Schedule and execute on-time preventive maintenance plans across production areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair control/electrical systems including PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems including actuators, valves, pumps and filters.
• Inspect mechanical systems like ballscrews, linear rails, guideways and gearboxes.
• Operate forklifts/scissor/boom lifts and drive company vehicles.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient operations.
