Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Tukwila, WA seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes for aerospace components. You will load parts, inspect with calipers and micrometers, and document quality to ensure standards are met.

Requirements include 1–6+ years of CNC lathe experience, blueprint reading, and the ability to edit G Code. This on-site role offers a 1st shift with weekend nights differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–6+ years CNC lathe experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical documents.
• Experience with G Code editing and SPC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe equipment to meet production rate and quality standards.
• Load and unload materials and parts from machines.
• Perform routine machine upkeep and cleaning.
• Use calipers, micrometers and gauges for in-process inspection.
• Read blueprints and work instructions; adjust as needed.
• Monitor conditions, report issues, and maintain documentation.
• Deburr, dress tools, and set up tooling and offsets.
• Train and mentor junior machinists as needed.
• Follow safety policies and 6S practices.
