Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks skilled CNC Machinists for setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC lathes to manufacture aerospace components with precision. Responsibilities include loading parts, in-process inspections, and documenting quality data.

Senior machinists may design tooling, mentor others, and lead continuous improvement efforts. The role is on-site in Tukwila, WA, with 1st shift Fri-Sun, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM.

Qualifications

• 1 to 6+ years of CNC lathe experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Familiarity with shop math and blueprint reading.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to meet production rate and quality standards.
• Load/unload materials and parts; perform routine upkeep and cleaning.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and document results.
• Read blueprints and work instructions; monitor conditions and report issues.
• Set up fixtures, tools, and programs; adjust offsets for accuracy.
• Mentor junior machinists and contribute to continuous improvement.
