Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a skilled machinist to perform a wide range of machining operations on casting parts. The role involves operating lathes, drills, saws, grinders, and CNC mills with CAM programming and G-code editing to meet exact specifications.

You will read technique cards, blueprints, and route cards, plan methods, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. The position is on-site in the United States with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Read complex drawings and production blueprints.
• Knowledge of machine tool setup and operation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining operations with lathes, drills, saws, and grinders to manufacture casting parts.
• Follow technique cards and route cards to plan and complete work.
• Program CNC mills using CAM software and edit G-code to optimize performance.
• Inspect finished parts for specifications and report defects.
• Maintain safety practices and housekeeping standards.
