Job summary

Hoppe Technologies, located in Chicopee, MA, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with 3–5 years of setting up and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and mill-turn machines. You will read drawings, apply GD&T, and perform in-process inspection to ensure aerospace-grade precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of CNC machine setup and operation in a machine shop.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and mill-turn machines.
• Proficient in reading drawings and GD&T.
• Familiar with precision metrology tools and inspection.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Willing to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Setup, run and produce quality parts on CNC mills and mill-turn machines.
• Load/unload parts, operate controls, perform basic edits, and deburr.
• Change tools and reset offsets.
• Perform in-process inspection and verify dimensions.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to AS9100 quality program and environmental regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
