Job summary

Hoppe Technologies, Inc. in Chicopee, Massachusetts, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and mill-turn machines for aerospace/defense components.

You will read blueprints, measure parts, perform in-process inspection, adjust offsets, and work within AS9100 quality systems. Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and shift options are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years setting up and operating CNC machines in a machine shop environment.
• Proficient knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Experience reading drawings and applying GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and produce quality parts on CNC milling and mill-turn machines.
• Load/unload parts, run controls, perform basic program edits and deburring.
• Change tools, reset offsets, inspect in-process parts, and verify tolerances.
• Dismantle setups and return tools/fixtures to proper locations.
• Report machine issues to supervisor and follow safety, AS9100 quality procedures.
