Job summary

Hoppe Technologies in Chicopee, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills or mill-turns on aerospace-related parts. You will read drawings, use precision gauges, and ensure parts meet dimensions and tolerances.

The role requires 3–5 years of shop-floor CNC experience, proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools, and the ability to work with Mazak, Matsuura, and Okuma machines. Equal opportunity employer with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; machinist experience preferred.
• Experience reading drawings and tight tolerances.
• Operate CNC mills/mill-turns and lathes with basic programming edits.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and produce quality parts on CNC milling or mill-turn machines.
• Load/unload parts; operate controls; perform basic program edits and deburring.
• Complete tool changes and reset offsets; inspect in-process parts.
• Dismantle setups and return tools and gauging after runs; report malfunctions.
