Job summary

RTX is seeking a Machinist Technician for 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) in Springdale, AR. The role involves setting up and operating CNC and conventional machines to fabricate and repair components, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machine setup.
• Ability to set up fixtures, tools, and accessories and perform operator level maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC machines to fabricate/repair parts.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine machine requirements.
• Prepare fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories; maintain setup documents.
• Operate with micrometers and calipers to ensure specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.
