Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a CNC Lathe machinist for an onsite role focused on efficient production per drawings and planning specifications. You will set up and operate CNC lathes, read blueprints, and perform first article and in-process inspections to ensure quality.

Under supervision, you may train less experienced machinists and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. The role requires experience with precision measurement and adherence to tolerances.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and written instructions.
• Experience with first article inspection and in-process checks.
• Knowledge of tolerances and measurement techniques; Lean/Six Sigma familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes set-ups with general supervision/assistance.
• Executes part operations from drawings to achieve first article acceptance.
• Performs in-process quality inspections and records.
• Identifies process improvements to reduce part variation.
• Inputs data into visual management forms and communicates results to management.
• Continuously improve processes and procedures; eliminate waste.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
