Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp. is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for an on-site role in Simi Valley, CA. The candidate will set up and operate CNC lathes, read blueprints, and adjust programs to meet specifications.

Responsibilities include performing in-process inspections, recording results, and contributing to continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of CNC lathe experience and the ability to train junior machinists.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years experience operating set‑ups on CNC lathes.
• Able to read and interpret CNC programs from drawings and instructions.
• Maintain tight tolerances and perform in-process quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes with general supervision.
• Operate and adjust CNC lathe machines per drawings and programs.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections and record results.
• Identify process improvements to reduce part variation.
• Input data into visual management forms and report results to management.
• Assist and train less experienced machinists.
