Job summary

Intra Corporation is seeking an ID/OD Grinder in Michigan to set up, operate and tend grinding for aerospace parts using S33 Studer grinders and related equipment. You will work with precision to meet blueprints and tolerances.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and journeyman machining or 8 years experience; ability to read prints and use precision measuring tools; training provided and growth opportunities in a manufacturing environment in Westland, MI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman machining or 8 years equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of machine shop practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and layouts.
• Experience with grinders and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and ID/OD grinders for aerospace parts.
• Set up and perform difficult grinding operations with precision.
• Determine feeds, speeds, tooling and process sequences from drawings.
• Assist at other machines in Manufacturing when needed.
