Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7 years of experience in ID/OD grinding or related machining.
• Blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret drawings.
• Shop math skills for measurement and tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection methods.
• Positive attitude and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual OD/ID grinding equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce parts.
• Adhere to job travelers and maintain SPC data documentation.
• Grind splined shafts and aircraft gears within tight tolerances.
• Perform basic maintenance on grinders and ensure first-piece quality.
