Zusammenfassung

Blue Origin is seeking an entry-level CAD Drafter I to join the Ground Support Development (GSD) Engineering Services CAD Support team. You will create and maintain detailed part/assembly models and drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM, supporting ground systems for launch pads, test stands, and tooling.

You will work with senior designers, learn Model-Based Definition practices, and contribute to cross-disciplinary layouts across mechanical, fluid, and electrical domains

Qualifikationen

• 2-year AS degree in CAD/ DD&T or equivalent.
• Foundational GD&T experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace/ mechanical systems and/or structures.
• Ability to read and interpret general intent of processes and specs.
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving tech.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain 3D part/assembly models and drawings in Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM under senior guidance.
• Support Model-Based Definition datasets with 3D annotations and PMI.
• Assist with mechanical/structural layouts including steel frameworks and platforms.
• Support fluid system design including piping routes and tubing assemblies.
• Contribute to electrical design including enclosures and cable routing as Creo adoption progresses.
• Prepare layouts, modify designs, and help identify discrepancies.
• Review drawings for compliance with ASME Y14 standards and drawing notes.
• Support Windchill structure, revision management, and change notices.
