Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an experienced designer to develop, maintain, and release engineering drawings and system designs. You will create 3D parametric models, 2D drawings, and MBD datasets, supporting mechanical, structural, and electrical disciplines.

Required: 5+ years in aerospace or similar field, Creo Parametric, Windchill, and GD&T knowledge, plus strong communication skills. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration in a dynamic spaceflight environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace development or similar industry.
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric design and integration.
• Proficiency in drawing generation, checking, and release processes.
• Experience with Windchill.
• Proficiency in Model Based Definition (MBD).
• Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience selecting aerospace hardware, fasteners, bushings, washers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and submit for release engineering drawings, systems designs, and engineering documentation per company standards using Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM.
• Create and maintain 3D parametric models, 2D drawings, and MBD datasets; support engineering system design across mechanical, structural, and electrical disciplines.
• Design and maintain component product definitions/data, including layouts, modify designs, and resolve modeling discrepancies; provide guidance on schedule and technical requirements to internal customers.
