Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled engineer experienced in aerospace design and development to join our team in California. The role centers on creating and managing engineering drawings, 3D models, and Model-Based Definition data using Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM.

Collaboration across mechanical, structural, and electrical disciplines ensures safe, reliable spaceflight hardware. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with aerospace hardware, GD&T, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace development or similar industry.
• Proficiency in design and integration using Creo Parametric.
• Proficiency in drawing generation, checking, and release processes.
• Experience in Windchill.
• Proficiency in Model Based Definition.
• Proficiency in standard fits, tolerance stacks, and GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience selecting standard aerospace hardware, fasteners, bushings, washers.
• Experience working in a cross-functional team responsible for selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and developing the design to produce world-class engineered products.
• Excellent attention to detail and task ownership, willingness to perform low-level tasks when needed.
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
