Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled design engineer to develop and maintain component definitions and drawings using MBd, Creo Parametric, and Windchill. You will work across mechanical, structural, and electrical domains to deliver robust, data-driven products.

Applicants should have 5+ years in aerospace, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to ensuring safety and quality in all engineering deliverables. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aerospace development or related field.
• Proficient in Creo Parametric design and integration.
• Experience with Windchill and Model Based Definition.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance analysis.
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies and producing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain components and product definitions, layouts, and drawings.
• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using MBd.
• Provide guidance on schedule and technical requirements to internal customers.
• Support engineering system design across mechanical, structural, and electrical disciplines.
