Griffon Aerospace in Madison, AL seeks a skilled Cable Technician to join a high-reliability manufacturing team in the UAS sector. The role focuses on cable harness building, assembly, and testing within an AS 9100D/ISO 9001-2015 environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in defense/aerospace manufacturing, experience with crimping, soldering, and IPC/J-STD/MIL specs, and the ability to sit/stand for extended periods. US citizenship and ability to obtain clearance required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of high-reliability manufacturing experience (defense/aerospace preferred).
• Familiarity with ISO9001 or AS9100 standards.
• Experience with cable harness building (crimp and solder).
• Knowledge of IPC, J-STD, AS, and MIL specifications.
• Must have knowledge on JST Crimping and Assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical & electronic components, wiring harnesses, and other electrical assemblies
• Manufacture electronic/electrical circuitry according to specifications and work orders
• Operate automatic stripping, crimping, and wire cutting equipment
• Integrate and test sub-assemblies and final assemblies
• Perform minor setup of non-complex equipment
• Assist with soldering and rework as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
