Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an Aerospace Electronics Technician to support the LRHW program in Huntsville, AL. This hands-on role involves fabricating cable and wire harness assemblies, reading engineering drawings, and testing assemblies to meet aerospace specifications.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain required program certifications. Team collaboration and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 5–10 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain program certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Experience with wire harness fabrication, cable and connector assembly.
• Ability to work hands-on in a team production environment.
• Willingness to undergo a government background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate cable and wire harness assemblies for flight and ground support hardware per military and aerospace specs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and assembly requirements.
• Determine tools, materials, dimensions, and assembly methods per engineering requirements.
• Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly, testing, and documentation of results.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype and production assemblies per procedures.
• Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the assembly process.
