Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Cable Harness Assembler in Saddle Brook, NJ to assemble, test, and install harnesses and related components in an aerospace manufacturing setting. You will follow precise engineering specs and safety standards to ensure quality and reliability.

Responsibilities include reading wiring diagrams, using hand and power tools, and conducting electrical tests. IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 familiarity are valued along with a high school diploma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in electrical assembly or related field is preferred.
• 2 years of experience with wire harness assembly and reading installation drawings/wiring diagrams.
• Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, and harnesses according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Use manual and powered tools to perform delicate tasks such as stripping, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly.
• Conduct testing including electrical continuity and HI POT testing on harness assemblies to ensure quality.
• Read and interpret engineering documentation, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Inspect, verify, and document each step of the assembly process and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Apply Lean & Continuous Improvement techniques to drive quality and productivity.
