Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists.
• Knowledge of soldering and compression connection tools.
• Good visual perception and color discrimination.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; long hours may be required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Performs setups and adjustments to specifications.
• Assembles electronic equipment such as cables, harnesses, chassis, PCBs; mechanical assembly of panels, LRUs, batteries, servo motors.
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks, and reassembles assemblies or subassemblies.
• Observes laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted.
• Works in a safe manner in accordance with procedures.
• May assist in training lower level assemblers.
• Housekeeping and cleanup duties; other duties as assigned.
