Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Minimum of 4–6 years purchasing/managerial experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred: Certification in supply chain management.
• Experience in aerospace materials markets is preferred.
• Strong negotiation in single-source environments with long lead times (~52 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the Division's purchases of materials for manufacturing.
• Leads and executes strategic long-term pricing and supplier agreements.
• Leads and ensures execution of VMI programs with identified materials.
• Establishes supplier selection criteria based on price, quality, delivery, certifications, and compliance with regulations.
• Negotiates with suppliers to secure favorable terms and continuity of supply.
• Develops and maintains continuous improvement programs with suppliers.
• Develops and benchmarks best practices among the Division's suppliers.
• Develops reorder procedures and crisis/backup supplier plans.
• Hires and develops top procurement talent to ensure long-term success.
