The position requires a Bachelor's degree with six or more years of procurement experience, knowledge of purchasing methods, and the ability to lead cross-functional improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field with six or more years of related experience.
• CPM or APICS certification desired.
• Knowledge of purchasing and negotiating methods, principles, and concepts.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement in processes and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select suppliers; investigate potential suppliers, prepare statements of work, and issue RFQs/Proposals.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiate price, delivery, quality and service.
• Manage purchase orders and supplier performance; track lead times and contracts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with procurement requirements.
• Lead or participate in supplier visits, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
