Job summary

PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA, seeks a Director of Business Development to steer growth initiatives across aerospace markets. You will report to the VP of Business Development, guide long-term growth strategies, and lead high-level negotiations with OEMs and technology customers.

You will mentor senior managers, ensure alignment of forecasts and engagements with corporate objectives, and represent PTI at industry events to elevate the company’s position in the aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of progressive aerospace OEM or aftermarket BD experience, incl. 3–5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with CRM tools.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Steer growth initiatives in aerospace markets and develop long-term growth strategies.
• Manage high-level relationships with OEMs and technology customers and lead contract negotiations.
• Provide strategic oversight for forecasts, engagement, and objectives; mentor senior managers.
• Represent PTI at industry events to increase visibility and leadership in aerospace.
