Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is seeking a Blender / Bench Mechanic for 1st shift (M-F 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) to blend, deburr and assemble aerospace case parts per work instructions.

Read blueprints, prepare parts for welding or machining, set up and operate abrasive tools, and inspect finished work to ensure conformance. HS diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience are required. This FAA-regulated facility emphasizes safety, quality, and clean work environments with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with auto body preferred.
• Experience with parts/equipment requiring fine precision and hand manipulation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Blend, smooth, and deburr surfaces on aerospace case parts per work instructions.
• Read blueprints, drawings, manuals to determine work requirements.
• Prepare parts for welding or machining by blending and deburring to specifications.
• Set up and operate machines with abrasive belts, wheels, or disks.
• Inspect parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Complete required paperwork and perform preventive maintenance.
