Job summary

Moog is seeking Assembly and Test Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift at our Buffalo, NY site. You will assemble high-precision components and test hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems, using precision tools and drawings.

FAA Drug & Alcohol program participation is required, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and attention to detail. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least 1 year in a related technical field, and the ability to follow complex

High School diploma or GED preferred; English literacy required.
At least 1 year of related technical field experience.
FAA Drug & Alcohol Program participation is required.

Responsibilities

Perform precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, and systems.
Use dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to verify build requirements.
Operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling and gauging.
Work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions.
Diagnose test failures and perform rework to pass test requirements.
Keep components clean and may work on repair units.
Contribute to teamwork environment with productivity, initiative and data collection.
