Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is hiring for Assembly and Test Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will assemble high-precision components for aerospace and defense, using precision measuring tools to ensure proper build and test results.

Position requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent ability to follow instructions in English) and at least 1 year in a related technical field. Enrollment in Moog's FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise able to understand and follow English instructions.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a technical field.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment/participation is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical components.
• Use measuring tools to verify build requirements and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Operate hydraulic/pneumatic/electronic test equipment and fixtures.
• Work from drawings, worksheets, parts lists and test specifications.
• Diagnose test failures and perform rework to pass test requirements.
• Contribute to a team environment through productivity, initiative and cooperation.
• Maintain required cleanliness of components and assemblies.
• Occasionally work on repair units in production runs.
