Job summary

Moog is seeking skilled Assembly and Test Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts on site in Buffalo, NY. You will assemble high-precision components used in aerospace and defense, performing multiple assembly and test operations with a range of measuring tools and test equipment.

A strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions are essential for success. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least 1 year in a related technical field, and

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of related experience in a related technical field.
FAA Drug & Alcohol Program participation is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

Perform precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, and systems.
Use dial indicators, calipers, micrometers to verify build requirements.
Operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment and fixtures.
Maintain dimensional accuracy with torque wrenches and fixtures.
Follow assembly drawings, worksheets, and test specifications.
Diagnose test failures and perform rework to pass tests.
Clean components to required cleanliness levels.
May work on repair units alongside production units.
Contribute to teamwork with productivity, initiative, cooperation, and data collection.
