Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an A&T Technician III for the 2nd shift in the Buffalo/East Aurora, NY area. You will join the Industrial Group, reporting to the Assembly and Test Supervisor, and work onsite with a 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule.

The role emphasizes precision assembly, testing, and documentation in a safety-conscious environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 3+ years in a related technical field, and strong trouble-shooting and measurement skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply all instructions in English.
• At least 3 years related experience in a technical field.
• Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures.
• Set up and perform operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment.
• Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Use and maintain the ERP system to record product builds, SN’s, and material use.
• Must adhere to EHS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly on complex systems supporting various applications.
• Assemble products using torque wrenches, fixtures, gauges and other devices per instructions.
• Perform various test operations using hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical methods to validate product acceptance.
• Work from drawings and instructions and document performance results.
• Communicate test failures and support reworking as needed.
• Ensure units are set up and tested per current revisions; alert supervisor to abnormal conditions.
• Utilize measuring equipment and test to validate conformance with requirements.
• Understand production goals and communicate deviations appropriately.
