Job summary

Moog's Industrial Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking an A&T Technician III for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) at East Aurora facility. You will report to the Assembly and Test Supervisor and perform precision assembly and tests on high‑precision systems used across multiple applications.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED (or equivalent), 3+ years of related experience, and proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment, ERP systems, and standard MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred or ability to follow instructions in English.
• At least 3 years related experience in a technical field.
• Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures.
• Set up and perform operational tests on high precision test stands.
• Use hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools to obtain results.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Use and maintain ERP system to record product builds, SNs, and material use.
• Adhere to EHS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly on complex systems.
• Assemble products using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges.
• Follow assembly instructions, written or oral.
• Conduct various hydraulic/mechanical/electrical tests to validate acceptance.
• Work from drawings and parts lists; document performance results.
• Communicate test failures and support reworking as needed.
• Ensure units meet current revision requirements; alert supervisor of any abnormal condition.
• Use measuring equipment to validate conformance to test requirements.
• Understand department production goals and report deviations.
