Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks an A&T Technician III for the on-site Buffalo, NY facility on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). You will report to the Assembly and Test Supervisor and perform precision assembly and testing of high-precision systems in East Aurora, NY.

This role requires 3+ years in a related technical field, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with ERP systems; strict adherence to EHS policies is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and follow English work instructions.
• At least 3 years related experience in a technical field.
• Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures.
• Set up and perform operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands.
• Use hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment to obtain performance results.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP system usage.
• Adherence to EHS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly on complex systems that support an array of applications.
• Assemble products using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges and other devices.
• Follow assembly instructions, both written and oral.
• Perform various tests using hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical methods to validate acceptance.
• Work from drawings and parts lists; document performance and conditions.
• Communicate common test failures and support reworking as necessary.
• Ensure units are tested per current revision and report any abnormal conditions to supervision.
• Utilize measuring equipment and validate conformance to test requirements.
• Understand department production goals and communicate deviations as appropriate.
