Job summary

RTX is hiring for a 3rd shift onsite assembler in North Berwick, ME. Training will be provided over 4–8 weeks, with duties including assembling large engine sections, following operation sheets, and using precision instruments to ensure conformance.

Responsibilities include operator certification, TPM, and teamwork with engineers, QA, and production staff to resolve issues and support part process development. HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 4-8 weeks of on-the-job training.
• Perform routine assembly operations on large sections of engine designs and assemblies.
• Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instructions to complete tasks.
• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
• Maintain machines by performing total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, programmers and production personnel to resolve assembly problems.
