Job summary

RTX North Berwick, ME, is seeking an onsite technician for the Aftermarket Repair Operations Team to repair jet engine components. Responsibilities include following procedures, using tools and manuals, and contributing to safety and quality standards.

You will learn assembly and machining processes, power deburring, spray coatings, and continuous improvement activities in a state-of-the-art facility. This is a 3rd shift role with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred; non-aerospace acceptable.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shop math.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures, drawings, and manuals to complete assemblies and machining tasks.
• Operate a range of tools and equipment as required by the job.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• May require overtime and shift training as needed.
• Read, write, and understand English to perform job duties.
