Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Assembly Operator I for its Fairview, NC facility. The role involves assembling components according to work instructions and engineering drawings, and inspecting products using calipers, gages, and other measuring devices.

Training on the first shift (7am–3:30pm) for about 6–8 weeks, with regular second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; candidates should be dependable, detail‑oriented, and able to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read English work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect completed work using quality standards.
• Measure components with calipers, gages, and other devices.
• Complete paperwork to maintain product traceability.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
