Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level to experienced assembler for 1st shift operations in Wilson, NC. You will learn to set up, assemble, and load parts, while using simple hand and machine tools and following procedures. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, identifying defects, and maintaining clean work areas. Overtime and weekend availability may be required; EH&S training is provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble, and load parts on the line.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools; troubleshoot setup.
• Read and follow procedures, routing, and work instructions.
• Ensure product meets quality standards; identify defects and escalate.
• Meet customer deadlines while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Follow quality systems and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain clean work area and participate in daily/weekly/monthly cleaning.
