Job summary

Flytrex Inc. is seeking an experienced Assembly & Manufacturing Manager to lead our manufacturing and assembly operations in Pilot Point, TX.

You will oversee production, testing, conformity, and manufacturing quality for the Flytrex Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), while developing the team, processes, and production capabilities required to support continued growth. Qualifications

• 7+ years in aerospace or related manufacturing with team leadership.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with quality, configuration control, and traceability.
• Strong cross-functional communication and leadership.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and workshop operations.
• Develop and coach assembly technicians.
• Own production execution and ensure aircraft are assembled and delivered per design and quality requirements.
• Establish standard assembly procedures, work instructions, build records, and traceability.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, workflow efficiency, and throughput.
• Coordinate with Engineering on NPI and design transitions.
• Provide DFMA feedback to improve manufacturability and production efficiency.
• Oversee sub-assembly and final assembly activities and testing.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing assets; track KPIs.
