Job summary

Flytrex Inc. is seeking an experienced Assembly & Manufacturing Manager to lead our Pilot Point, TX manufacturing and assembly operations for the Flytrex UAS.

This hands-on leader will drive production, quality, and process improvements in a fast-growing, safety‑driven environment. You will work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Flight Operations, and our Tel Aviv headquarters to maintain configuration control, transition new designs to production, and scale manufacturing

Qualifications

• 7+ years in aerospace, UAS, robotics, automotive, or advanced electromechanical manufacturing with leadership.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude; able to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Experience leading manufacturing, production, workshop, or assembly operations.
• Able to read engineering drawings, electrical schematics, BOMs, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of quality, configuration control, inspection, traceability, and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and workshop operations, including production planning and staffing.
• Develop assembly technicians through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Own production execution and ensure assemblies are delivered per design and quality requirements.
• Establish and maintain standardized procedures, build records, and product traceability.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, configuration control, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions for issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering on NPI and transitioning designs to production.
• Provide DFMA feedback to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Oversee sub-assembly and final assembly, testing, and system integration.
• Maintain tools, fixtures, and equipment; manage maintenance and calibration.
