Flytrex Inc. is seeking an experienced Assembly & Manufacturing Manager to lead our Pilot Point, TX production, handling assembly, testing, conformity, and manufacturing quality for the Flytrex UAS, while building teams and scalable processes.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Flight Operations, and our Tel Aviv HQ to maintain configuration control, transition designs to production, and drive safety, reliability, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in aerospace, UAS, robotics, or advanced electromechanical manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, electrical schematics, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Strong knowledge of quality, configuration control, inspection, documentation, and traceability.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily manufacturing and workshop operations including production planning and staffing.
• Manage assembly technicians through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Own production execution: assembly, testing, documentation, and delivery to spec.
• Establish standard assembly procedures, work instructions, and build records.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, configuration control, conformity, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions for issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering on NPI and design transitions to repeatable production.
• Provide DFMA feedback to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Oversee sub-assembly and final assembly, including integration.
