Job summary

Flytrex is seeking an experienced Assembly & Manufacturing Manager to lead our manufacturing and assembly operations in Pilot Point, TX, overseeing production, testing, conformity, and quality for our unmanned aircraft system.

The role partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Flight Operations, and the Tel Aviv HQ to drive configuration control, transition new designs into production, and deliver safe, reliable aircraft at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading aerospace or advanced electromechanical manufacturing.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs.
• Strong quality, configuration control, and traceability knowledge.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and CAPA.
• Experience designing or improving manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Domestic and international travel as needed.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and workshop operations, including production planning and staffing.
• Develop assembly technicians through coaching and performance management.
• Own production execution and ensure conformance to design and quality.
• Establish standardized procedures, records, and traceability.
• Maintain compliance with QMS and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and throughput.
• Coordinate with Engineering on NPI and design transitions.
• Provide DFMA feedback to improve manufacturability.
• Oversee sub-assembly and final assembly, testing, and release.
• Maintain equipment and tooling; manage maintenance program.
