Adecco Portugal is seeking an Applications Engineer for an aerospace program in Carson City, NV. You will serve as the technical lead on customer programs, traveling as needed to gather requirements, develop concepts, and support installations.

The role combines engineering, customer engagement, and project management in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Candidates should have aerospace experience, CAD skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of aerospace, aviation, or regulated manufacturing experience.
• Strong project management and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international).
• Eligible to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for assigned customer programs.
• Lead projects from proposal through production and installation support.
• Conduct customer and aircraft site visits to gather requirements and provide guidance.
• Develop technical proposals, installation concepts, and project plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, and certification teams.
• Support business development with technical expertise and cost estimates.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule while meeting customer expectations.
