Competenze

Are you an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working directly with customers, and seeing projects move from concept to reality?

A growing aerospace manufacturer is seeking an Applications Engineer to serve as the technical lead for customer programs supporting commercial and military aircraft systems. This is a highly visible role that combines engineering, customer interaction, project management, and travel.

Salary: $80,000- $120,000 + Sign on Bonus

***Ability to travel up to 50%, including occasional domestic and international travel (Accepting US Citizen or Green Card applicants)

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for assigned customer programs
• Lead projects from proposal through production and installation support
• Conduct customer and aircraft site visits to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
• Develop technical proposals, installation concepts, engineering documentation, and project plans
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, and certification teams
• Support business development efforts with technical expertise and cost estimates
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule while exceeding customer expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, aviation, or a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong project management and customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specificationsa
• Experience supporting technical projects from concept through implementation
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including occasional domestic and international travel
• Eligible to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR)

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace, aviation, aircraft interiors, or aircraft systems
• Electrical systems, lighting systems, avionics, or electronics
• DO-160, AS9100, or other highly regulated industries
• CAD software experience
