Web Industries seeks an Applications Engineer to act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires deep expertise in aerospace composites and high-temperature materials, with 7+ years of relevant experience and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams across sites. Occasional travel is 25–40% and a strong customer-facing skill set is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply aerospace drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Technical and Planning Problem solving skills.
• Experience using/ interacting with ERP systems.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Eligible to work on government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Create internal and deliverable technical material, data and documentation, and assist with training.
• Develop quotes, cost estimates and models, and recommendations balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and schedule.
• Assess existing processes and drive improvements.
• Prepare and lead technical proposals and discussions including design reviews.
• Interpret customer specifications, statements of work, drawings, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure aerospace program execution.
