Job summary
Ontic is seeking an Applications Engineer II to serve as a technical liaison between customers, sales and internal engineering teams. You will review RFQs/COs, create MBOMs/MDLs, and support ECNs, ECRs and PLM data management in Windchill.
A strong technical background in aerospace/engineering and 5–9 years of experience are required. You will collaborate across engineering, product development, and manufacturing to ensure correct documentation, compliance, and successful product
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related STEM field.
- 5–9 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering documentation.
- Working knowledge of engineering applications and configuration management.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical reviews of RFQs and COs.
- Initiate and participate in drawing changes (ECR/ECN).
- Provide technical support and product knowledge for RFQs/CO analyses.
- Create MBOM and MDL.
- Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities.
- Review technical data and test reports for accuracy.
