Job summary

Ontic is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support sustainment and design engineering across legacy and new aerospace programs. You will work in a collaborative team focused on electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems, including PCB design, interconnects, and harnessing, ensuring robust performance and manufacturability.

The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex design challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of electrical design engineering experience.
Experience reading and creating schematics, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in engineering and manufacturing environments.
Aerospace industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support sustainment of electrical products and development activities, including circuit board design and system integration.
Develop obsolescence management and mitigation strategies for legacy products.
Participate in counterfeit parts prevention and mitigation initiatives.
Design, develop, and validate test methods, equipment, and acceptance procedures.
Support design reviews and technical assessments for legacy and new systems.
