Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the intern session.
• Completion of at least 30 credits prior to the internship start date.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal air systems to assess cooling and sealing effectiveness.
• Conduct thermal analysis of rotating and static hardware components.
• Perform computational fluid dynamics analysis to evaluate turbine system performance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to address technical challenges in fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
• Support ongoing projects by preparing technical documentation and presenting findings.
• Assist in trade studies to explore design options and optimize system capabilities.
• Transform raw test data into actionable insights to shape design decisions.
