Job summary

RTX Technology Research Center in East Hartford, CT seeks a technician for the Aero-Thermal Testing Group. You will perform mechanical assembly, instrumentation, installation and troubleshooting of test rigs and support systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic lines.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Qualified candidates with a minimum of 4 years of work experience in test facility operations and maintenance, flight line maintenance or similar technical hands‑on experience will be reviewed for this position.
• U.S. Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install test rigs and test facility services such as pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot test facilities and instrumentation.
• Support flexible scheduling and multi‑shift test operations.
