Job summary

RTX Technology Research Center in East Hartford, CT invites a Mechanical/Aerospace engineer to join the Aero-Thermal Testing Group. The role focuses on experimental testing, instrumented assemblies, data quality, and safe test operations in a fast-paced lab environment.

The successful candidate will plan and execute test programs, run day-to-day test activities, troubleshoot systems, and communicate results clearly while adhering to EH&S rules and maintaining test facilities.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Minimum 1 year with experimental test execution and test facility operations troubleshooting
• Minimum 1 year experience in system design, fluid dynamics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Minimum 1 year experience with Data acquisition and Control systems, and test instrumentation
